Healthy Lakes Grant Process
The DNR provides grants of up to one thousand dollars for managing erosion and run off. The process for obtaining one of these grants is as follows:

Review the Getting Started Brochure, Choosing Best Practices and other information on the Wisconsin Healthy Lakes website. You may select one or more of the following projects:

Fish Sticks
-
Native Plantings
-
Diversion
-
Rock Infiltration
-
Rain Garden
-

If you are thinking of applying for a Healthy Lakes grant, you will need to contact Mitch McCarthy from Sauk County by OCTOBER 31ST of this year. He can help you understand the application/approval/reimbursement process. You can contact him at:
